Case Scenarios focuses on risk awareness for a playspace environment and a non-interventionist, customer service, and anticipatory approach to the role of dungeon monitors (DMs). It is highly recommended for experienced and aspiring DMs and event hosts. This class is also informative (and entertaining!) for those who do not plan to DM, providing valuable information about safety and incident management and orientation to common play space rules and etiquette. While every DM shift is unique (and different venues may have very different rules and training requirements), the scenarios in this session are chosen to stimulate thinking and encourage the development of critical thinking skills that will serve in any play environment.
