Twisted Windows blends elegance, sensuality, and skill as our talented performers showcase suspension bondage, aerial, circus, pole dance, and fetish artistry to create an atmosphere of intrigue, intimacy, and artistry. Twisted Windows performance events invite you to create unique experiences exploring concurrent ambient shibari and Western-style rope acts, innovative interactive activities, visual art, and stunning spotlight circus spectacle.
The Twisted Windows troupe is a collective of rope performers dedicated to elevating bondage performance as a form of movement art. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, it comprises some of the region's most talented and sought-after bondage artists, specializing in styles ranging from shibari to circus. Each member has been selected for expertise, passion, and dynamic stage presence to create performances that captivate and inspire.
In addition to producing stand-alone events and classes at venues including SOMArts, Gallery Erato, and the SF Armory, Twisted Windows has curated performance showcases for San Francisco Pride, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, Tethered Together, Ropecraft, Dark Odyssey, New Bohemia NYE at the Mint, the Folsom Street Fair, and more.
