Hardpoints will be available for experienced folks to use during the jam and wind-down time (but not the lesson time). Attendees are expected to have the risk awareness and self-knowledge to participate at a level that is safe(r) for them.
9:30 - 10pm: Free play, socialization, and wind-down
The lessons for each of these sessions will always begin with Shay's Safety Speed Round (so she can sleep at night), intention, rope handling basics, and by teaching the building blocks of a lark’s head and half hitch. Following these fundamentals, each of the three sessions will branch off into different topic areas, as described below. No rope experience is necessary – these are welcoming, stand-alone, beginner-level classes.

April – Under Pressure: Content includes discussion & practice of compression-based self-ties, including exercises focused on tension and aesthetic intention explored through variations on a mermaid tie, chest tie, and intense foot and calf self-bondage.
